About Financial Services
Olympic ESD 114's Financial Services Department provides a wide variety of services for regional school districts. With the increasing complexity of business operations and the competing demands placed on district resources, Olympic ESD's assistance in identifying and analyzing alternatives helps school districts optimize resource decisions. Districts can receive advice and assistance with the many aspects of financial planning relating to all areas of school district operations, including:
- Levy and bond amounts and limits
- Debt management
- Capital projects
The department also assists districts with budget development and the completion of several required reports, including
- Annual financial reports
- Personnel and salary reports
- Payroll reports
- Enrollment reports
- Monthly treasurer's cash reports
The department is also available to cover unexpected staff losses until the staff is replaced on a fee for services basis.

Business Manager Academy
Are you a new Business Manager or want to learn more about the duties of a School District Business Manager? Olympic Educational Service District 114 offers a program to support your goals!
We offer instruction that focuses on developing new or existing skills. Our training incorporates summary and detailed lessons that correspond with day-to-day school district fiscal operations. We will focus on how to apply and understand state and federal regulations, state funding and reporting, using data to make sound financial decisions and maximizing resources to find solutions. School district employees who sign up for the academy will get access to training materials created by some of the leading experts in our industry!
