Art inspires Art...
8th grade students from Port Townsend's Blue Heron Middle School in Mrs. Melinda Schroeder’s Language Arts class wrote poetry inspired by the artwork in Olympic ESD 114’s 2023 High School Art Show. We are honored to publish these poetic works, paired with the art that inspired them, for you to enjoy.

Olympic ESD 114 Regional High School Art Show
The Annual Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) High School Art Show for students in grades 9-12 provides an important opportunity for the recognition of students with outstanding artistic ability.
This program encourages students to share their work and achievement with other students in Washington State. Students enter artwork at each of the nine Educational Service District regional shows, with several pieces chosen in each region to advance to OSPI's state-level show.

2024 51st Annual Superintendent’s High School Art Show for students in grades 9-12.
- Online Experience: The OESD 114 Regional High School Art Show will be an online experience.
- Submission period: January 2-26, 2024. Entry forms will be available online through Google Forms.
- Show: The online gallery will be posted February 5 – March 1, 2024. Awards will be posted March 4, 2024.

The People’s Choice winner is determined by ballots cast by visitors to the online Olympic ESD 114 High School Art Show. Allison will receive a $200 purchase award, and her piece will become a permanent part of Olympic ESD 114’s High School Art Collection.

"Toppling Books" by Claire Christen
North Kitsap High School | North Kitsap School District
Claire's "Toppling Books" received the most votes by visitors to Olympic ESD 114's Regional High School Art Show exhibit. Claire received a $200 Purchase Award and her piece has been added to the High School Art Show Gallery on permanent display at Olympic ESd 114.
