Good News! One of our Regional High School Art Show winners went on to win at OSPI’s State Art Show!

Alex Floathe from North Mason High School won one of fifteen $200 purchase awards at OSPI’s State-level High School Art Show. His piece, “Split Personalities” received a “Judge’s Choice” award and became part of OSPI’s High School Art Gallery on display in Olympia. This is the second “Judge’s Choice” award Alex has received in the State-level High Art Show. His entry in the 2013 ESD 114 Regional High School Art Show, “Platter Pottamai,” also went on to receive an OSPI  “Judge’s Choice” award. It has been displayed all year in a very prominent location in the foyer of OSPI.Sarah Freitas
