WASA Region 114 Awards – 2016 Highlights

On Monday, April 18, 2016, WASA Region 114 held its annual Regional Awards dinner at the Clearwater Resort in Suquamish.  Olympic ESD Superintendent Greg Lynch hosted the dinner and, along with WASA Assistant Executive Director John Dekker and WASA Region 114 President David Engle, provided a warm welcome to 100 attendees.

Community Leadership Awards were presented by each district superintendent to community members or groups in recognition of their contributions to education. The tremendous dedication of these amazing groups and individuals has made a significant impact on education in our region. Gratitude filled the room on April 18.  A special honor was presented to Stephanie Parker, Olympic ESD 114 Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, as she received the WASA Student Achievement Leadership Award along with a Retirement Award.

  • North Mason School District – presented by Superintendent Dana Rosenbach to Jeromy Hicks and Craig Patti
  • Port Angeles School District – presented by Superintendent Marc Jackson to Nolan Duce and the Peninsula International Relations Association
  • Port Townsend School District – presented by Superintendent David Engle to Catherine Collins
  • South Kitsap School District – presented by Superintendent Michele Reid to Tiffany Wilhelm and Erica Juntunen
