The National Education Policy Center (NEPC) has recognized 20 schools from around the country as Schools of Opportunity, and our very own Quilcene High School is one of them.

At its School Board Meeting held September 21, 2016, Olympic ESD Board Member Katie Proteau, Superintendent Greg Lynch, and Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Susan Jung Lathrop, joined in a special acknowledgement of this unique award highlighting the school’s work on closing the opportunity gap by adopting practices that are inclusive and create a supportive learning environment for all students.
