    School Safety & Security Networking Breakfast Meetings The purpose: of these networking breakfast meetings is to provide a venue for Executive level leaders within the Kitsap, Jefferson, Clallam and North Mason areas to discuss school safety and security issues, new developments and concerns. 

    •  Target Audience: Executive Leaders include School District Board Members & Superintendents, Community College Presidents, School District Board Members & Superintendents, Elected Officials, Law Enforcement, Fire Services, Emergency Management, Tribal Leadership, Hospitals and Mental Health.  
    • Time: 7:30AM – 9:00AM.  Location: Kitsap Golf & Country Club - Clock Hours available if you attend at least 2 or more meetings.
    • Registration Fee: A $15 Registration fee for each session includes the cost of Breakfast for each events.

    By invitation only - School Safety & Security Regional Threat Assessment Team Meetings The purpose of these meetings are for the team to review and provide guidance on school threat assessment cases and discuss resources/strategies that will support and redirect the student who is posing a threat and protect potential victims. 

    • Target Audience: Invitation only and MOU’s/Confidentiality form must be signed. Administrators, First Responders and Mental Health Leaders.
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM.

    Compliance Officer 201 Advanced Anti-Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Compliance officer training (HIB). This training session goes beyond the basic understanding of the Compliance Officer role, legislation and definitions, and data and reporting by taking a deeper dive into investigations and reviewing difficult and challenging scenarios. Participants will also learn about researched best practice strategies and have opportunities to learn from one another and review scenarios.

    • Target Audience: School District HIB Compliance Officers and School Administrators in charge of HIB issues in their schools; and will benefit anyone involved with school district policy
      concerning anti-harassment, intimidation or bullying

    School Safety Threat Assessment Re-entry Plans Training

    This training session goes beyond the basic understanding of threat assessment to address management planning. Participants will learn about the core components of a safety plan, effective strategies/interventions to include in a safety plan, monitoring fidelity and compliance to the plan, and evaluating progress. In addition, case studies will be reviewed, as well as opportunities for hands-on practice in lab exercises.
